Open to all applicants in England aged 19+, the Level 2 Adult Care Certificate diploma is perfect for those with little or no experience in adult care. The programme covers essential topics that build strong foundational knowledge for those looking to work within the care sector.
Students will complete a selection of 15 mandatory units, representing the 15 standards of care. Each unit holds a different credit value, and students must gain a minimum total of 36 credits in order to pass the course.
The enrolment fee for this qualification is £995.
This course is designed for those with little to no care experience. Unlike our other diplomas, the Level 2 Adult Care Certificate is open to all applicants in England aged 19+, regardless of their employment status.
Delegates can complete their diploma at a time to suit them, and we do not have a set frame that students must adhere too. That being said, a good target time for completion time is around 3-6 months, although many of our students complete sooner.
Our Diplomas are accredited by Ofqual-approved registered bodies, such as Highfield Qualifications and ILM (part of City & Guilds), to give you quality assurance.
Diplomas are completed via e-portfolio. All students will be assigned a dedicated assessor who will be on hand to provide virtual support. The assessor team is there to help students work to the best of their ability and complete their diploma in good time.
The e-portfolio is a collection of evidence submitted via an online portal. This evidence comprises a range of documents, from peer statements, presentations of evidence and a series of Q&A sessions.
Evidence is collected via experience gained in the delegate’s workplace whilst they perform their usual working role and will cover a series of competence and knowledge-based units.

What is the difference between an NVQ, a QCF and an RQF?
All three are abbreviations of the same qualification. While the term 'NVQ' may still be the most popular, this was superseded by 'QCF' in 2010 and then changed to 'RQF' in 2015.
What support will be available during this course?
All learners completing one of our vocational courses will be assigned their own course assessor, providing direct and personal support. Additionally, we have a dedicated in-house diploma team available 24/7 via phone or email.
