Our Level 7 Extended Diploma in Strategic Leadership and Management is equivalent to a postgraduate-level qualification and the highest programme we offer. Designed for senior managers and strategic leaders, this internationally recognised qualification develops the advanced insight, decision-making capability, and organisational influence required at an executive level.
The course is suitable for leaders across a wide range of industries, with flexible units that allow learners to tailor their learning to the needs of their role or sector. As an Ofqual-regulated qualification, it meets nationally recognised standards for senior leadership development and provides a robust, credible pathway for professional progression.
To successfully achieve the qualification, learners must complete a minimum of 60 credits through a combination of their chosen units. (At least 31 credits must come from units 700-703 and 710-717. A maximum of 29 credits may be taken from units 601-612 and 800.)
The enrolment fee for this qualification is £1,995.
Learners must be 18+ and employed in a relevant UK-based vocational setting to enrol on this course.
Learners have a maximum of 36 months to complete their qualification. Students are encouraged to learn at their own pace, and many will complete sooner.
Our Diplomas are accredited by Ofqual-approved registered bodies such as Highfield Qualifications and ILM (part of City & Guilds) to give you quality assurance.
No mandatory workplace observation is required for this Level 7 qualification.
The diploma is completed through an online e-portfolio, and every learner is assigned a dedicated assessor who provides ongoing virtual support. Our assessor team is there to guide learners, help them stay on track, and ensure they complete their diploma confidently and efficiently.
The e-portfolio is a collection of evidence submitted via an online portal, including documents such as peer statements, presentations, professional discussions and Q&A responses. All evidence is gathered from the learner’s real workplace experience as they carry out their normal role and is used to demonstrate both knowledge and competency across the required units.
Diplomas are completed via e-portfolio. All students will be assigned a dedicated assessor who will be on hand to provide virtual support. The assessor team is there to help students work to the best of their ability and complete their diploma in good time.

Evidence is collected via experience gained in the delegate’s workplace whilst they perform their usual working role and will cover a series of competence and knowledge-based units.
What is the difference between an NVQ, a QCF and an RQF?
All three are abbreviations of the same qualification. While the term 'NVQ' may still be the most popular, this was superseded by 'QCF' in 2010 and then changed to 'RQF' in 2015.
What support will be available during this course?
